Dear Members,

We hope this message finds you well. The YMCA of West Central Florida is actively monitoring Hurricane Milton and its potential impact on the Polk County region.

In anticipation of the Hurricane's impact, all YMCA locations will close at 5:00 pm on Tuesday, October 8th and will remain closed all day on Wednesday, October 9th and Thursday, October 10th. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We will reopen for normal hours of operation beginning Friday, October 11th.

We encourage everyone to stay informed by following local weather reports and monitoring updates from County and State emergency management officials. We will continue to monitor the Hurricane's progress closely. Any updates regarding changes to our hours of operation will be communicated via email.

Thank you for your understanding, and please stay safe.

YMCA of West Central Florida

At the YMCA of West Central Florida, strengthening community is our cause. Every day, we work side-by-side with our neighbors to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive. Each year, we help more that 200,000 youth, adults, and seniors improve their health, and learn new skills.

As a not-for-profit charity, we rely on charitable donations to ensure that everyone can be part of the YMCA.
