• Pink Day October 13th! In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, we will have pink ribbons for all staff and members who want to wear them to show their support for Breast Cancer awareness on this day.
• Please follow no parking signs located around the facility as we try to enhance and take care of our space better.

• Trunk or Treat! October 24th 5-7 p.m. Come see what your child’s favorite childcare counselor’s trunk will look like!
• Minor Childwatch improvements to enhance the space; fall decorations, new toys, chalk wall, etc. Hours are currently Monday-Friday 8:30-11:30 am and 5:30-8:30 pm. Also Saturdays from 8:00 am – 12:00 pm.

• All machines are in place. Pull Up machine is back!
• Further improvements will focus on enhancing the space aesthetically with proper storage for weights and equipment, motivational signage, etc.
• Updated Group Ex schedule coming soon: Silver Sneakers Circuit class on Wednesdays at 9:30 am has been put on hold for the time being. We expect the class to be back on or there will be another class in that place starting November 4th. Tuesday’s Zumba class will end on October 6th for the time being. We are in the process of getting another class offered there or another Instructor to run the same class. We have an outside program taking place in that space until November 17th, but we are currently evaluating a class to resume in that area or at least around that same time starting Tuesday, December 1st.

• Kindergarteners coming to visit week of 9/28-10/2 from 9:30 a.m. – 1:15 p.m. Square free swim area will be taken over by them during that time. The rest of the pool including lap lanes will remain open for members.
• Enjoy our pool until the end of October! October hours will be adjusted to 10:30 am – 6:30 pm to account for the cooler weather and earlier sunsetting. The pool will open back up April 5th, 2027.
• Swim Lessons will conclude at the end of September. Lessons will resume May 3rd, 2027. Registrations will open April 5th, 2027.

• New sport offering! Our inaugural Flag Football League is currently in season and running smoothly. We’re looking forward to our next season that begins October 19^th and concludes December 19^th with the week of Thanksgiving being an off week. Register now!
• New lighting for the field to continue doing weeknight practices coming soon!
• We will still be doing Youth Basketball of course! Both Basketball and Flag Football are on the exact same timelines. Seasons run 10/19 – 12/19 with the week of Thanksgiving being an off week so no practices or games that whole week. Registrations run from August 31^st to October 7^th.

Leaders Club

Leaders Club has found its way to FGY! Leaders Club aims to develop teens ages 13-18 into future leaders through servant-leadership, service to the community, healthy living, and connection with other teens. Interested in your teen joining? Email jonathan.ponce@ymcawcf.org for further information.
