Construction Update: Phase Two Begins Feb. 2nd

Beginning February 2nd, we will move into the next phase of our facility construction project.

This phase includes the construction of a temporary hallway leading to Group Exercise, allowing demolition work to begin in the lobby and supporting the installation of new plumbing and sewer lines for the locker rooms.

The main Group Exercise classroom, Spin Studio, and Studio X will remain open during scheduled class times only.

  • Studio X will be accessed through the outdoor side entrance during scheduled class times. A staff member will be available to assist with directions and monitor the space. Studio X will be closed outside of class times.
  • The Historic Y Basketball Gym will be temporarily closed during this phase of construction. All youth leagues will be relocated to the Fieldhouse courts, which will affect afternoon gym availability. Please visit our website for updated gym schedules.

These changes are temporary and necessary to complete key construction milestones. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we continue improving our facility.

These closures are necessary to prepare the space for the next phase of our renovation project.
While these areas are unavailable, members will continue to have access to:

  • The Wellness Floor
  • The Cardio Deck
  • Group Exercise Studios
  • Spin Studio
  • Field House Turf Field and Basketball Courts
  • Indoor Track
  • Child Development Center (Child Watch) – which will be moving up front to the new location

Thank you for your continued support of the YMCA and for being a valued part of our Y family.

  • Our indoor pools will undergo a full renovation, including updated finishes and new equipment installations.
  • The basketball courts will be completely redone and resurfaced.
  • Our group exercise studios will be renovated and refreshed, and we will also be adding a brand-new group exercise room for additional classes and programming.
