3 Pillars

OUR FOCUS
The Y is a cause-driven organization and we are all about helping others. We focus our work in three key areas, because nurturing the potential of kids, helping people of all ages live healthier lives and supporting our neighbors are all fundamental in strengthening our communities.
YOUTH DEVELOPMENT - Nurturing the potential of every child and teen
We believe that the values and skills learned early on are vital building blocks for life.  We also believe that all kids deserve the opportunity to discover who they are and what they can achieve. That's why, through Y programs, youth are learning values, skills and relationships that lead to positive behaviors, better health and educational achievement.

Child Care
At the Y we provide children with a safe, nurturing environment to learn, grow and develop social skills and parents the piece of mind that their children are developing important life skills.

Education & Leadership
Through academic enrichment and leadership development, children and teens are being mentored and coached.  With guidance and encouragement from Y staff and volunteers, youth gain confidence as they recognize the Y as a place where they belong and feel comfortable exploring new interests and passions.

Swim, Sports & Play
The Y is the starting point for many youth to learn about becoming and staying active, and developing healthy habits they’ll carry with them throughout their lives. And the benefits are far greater than just physical health. Whether it’s gaining the confidence that comes from learning to swim or building the positive relationships that lead to good sportsmanship and teamwork, participating in sports at the Y is about building the whole child, from the inside out.

 Camp
Overnight, day or specialty camps at the Y share one thing: they’re about discovery. Kids have the opportunity to explore nature, find new talents, try new activities, gain independence, and make lasting friendships and memories. And, of course, it’s fun too.
